This is kind of a random blog but I finally got a decent picture of Marley and wanted to share it with everyone. To the untrained eye, Marley would appear to be proper and dignified and the most perfect attentive pet ever. That is until she goes to the dog park and takes on the biggest dog there and does all that she can to get them to chase her and than proceeds to out run them around the entire park. It is hilarious to watch! She's known as the activity director at the dog park because she gets all the dogs riled up. We rescued her from the pound a year ago and she has been the best pet ever. She is super affectionate, really good with kids and full of energy. She is part terrier (probably jack russel and something else) and dauchsund...she resembles a ferret or even Falcor from The Neverending Story. My favorite thing is when I am sitting in my love seat, which is right in front of our window and she will come and lay right on top of it and look out the window and check everything out while basking in the sun. She will growl when there is a cat on our car, wag her tail in my face when there is a kid playing the grass and go nuts when she sees Ty getting out his car, letting me know when he is home.

Marley is so cute. You are right, he does look like Falcor from the Neverending Story! I'm so glad he's such a good dog. I'm thinking we should have a playdate with Marley and Cade. Marley might not appreciate it so much, but Cade would love it. He might need a minute or 45 to get used to Marley...but it could work!
hey Jill, at Deseret Book there is a new kids book called BAD DOG MARLEY and i totally wanted to get it for you, but it was like $16!! i'm too cheap...sorry!
