I Heart Aprons!

I did it, I finally made my very first apron. It was so fun to pick out the fabric and make it. It didn't hurt at all that I had some really fun people to hang out with while I was making it. Tuesday Night has become Tuesday Night Apron Night. Right now it is only three of us, but anyone is welcome who wants to make an apron, and we gather around my friend Maren's table with our pattern, sewing machines, scissors, ironing board and iron and really good spinach dip and Diet Coke and just gab and sew. It has taken me two Apron Nights to make this one. Each night ran about three to four hours long just because we would be talking more than sewing which is why it has been so much fun! I love my new apron and now I am going to go to Joanns and use my 50% off coupon to buy fabric for my full length apron that I am going to start on the next Tuesday Night Apron Night! I can't wait. I thought it was funny when Christie asked, "What are we going to make once we finish our aprons?" I am not going to lie, I thought in my head, "Why, another apron of course!" I love how I feel when I am wearing it!

jill, that is super cute. I love it. So, much you might have to make me one. Tell the girls, they can make them for family and friends (x-mas and birthday gifts). I love it!

I love it, I love it, I love it!! We see some results from the hours of sewing! You are an inspiration. I will get done with mine before next apron night so I can start a new one with you.

Jill - your apron is gorgeous! Great work there missy. My mother-in-law asked what we were going to make after aprons and I told her we don't talk about it. It's all aprons all the time for now and we won't talk about the future or suffer the crazed apron gleam of terror in you face. Aprons are great. We love Aprons!
